Is your charger fast enough for your phone? Pick your phone to see its port, its fast-charging rate and which chargers and cables fit.
Choose a phone to see what charges it fastest.
Most phones fast-charge over USB Power Delivery (PD) through a USB-C port. WisdomUp’s wall chargers go up to 20W USB-C PD — Apple’s full fast-charging rate for iPhones up to the iPhone 16 family, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air. Newer Pro iPhones charge faster on 40W or more, and Galaxy and Pixel phones reach their top rates only on a PD charger with PPS.
Check three things: the port (USB-C or Lightning), the charging standard (most phones fast-charge over USB Power Delivery, PD) and the watts. Apple rates iPhones 8 and newer for fast charging with a 20W or higher USB-C PD adapter; Samsung’s Super Fast Charging and Pixel’s top rates need a PD charger with PPS.
No. A phone only draws the power it can take. A USB-C PD charger and the phone agree on the voltage before charging starts.
For USB PD fast charging, yes: the cable needs USB-C at the charger end — USB-C to USB-C, or USB-C to Lightning for iPhone 14 and older.
